A large part of the formula for a successful real estate career is identifying a need in the market and finding a way to fill it.
Whether you do that by developing a niche for "two story homes with pools on over 6 acres in the most fantastic school district ever" or creating a marketing plan that makes new construction homes glow in the dark, THE OBJECT OF THE GAME IS TO DO WHAT OTHERS ARE NOT DOING AND THAT THE CONSUMER WANTS!
Right now, what consumers in my market want is to buy a home in a certain school district in a certain price range where inventory is sorely lacking.
So, I ask myself...what am I going to do about that?
The answer is that I am going to make up a flyer, take it to Staples, make a 200 copies, put on my coat and my walking shoes and knock on some doors.
Now you may ask, "why not just put those flyers in an envelope and mail them?"
I'm not going to mail them because I WANT TO CREATE URGENCY AND I WANT TO MEET SOME PEOPLE AND LET THEM KNOW THAT I MEAN BUSINESS.
